Can-Am Care employs a registered nurse to assist healthcare professionals (HCPs). In addition, we have built a presence with the nationwide network of 11,000 diabetes educators through our membership of the American Association of Diabetes Educators (AADE) and of the American Diabetes Association (ADA) and our attendance at these organization’s annual conferences. We also maintain an educational reach-out program, whereby HCPs are about to obtain samples through our customer care department (you can call toll-free at (800) 461.7448). We also participate in diabetes events, including hospital outreach and children’s summer camps. We are proud of our record with the healthcare professional community and are pleased to support this group with education, awareness and our extensive sampling program so that people with diabetes may be better educated and informed to enjoy a better quality of life.
